Welcome to Saint Therese Parish!  As a community of believers, we welcome you to join us as we celebrate and express our faith in Jesus Christ through worship, ministry and service.  We welcome and invite you to join us each week as we celebrate the Eucharistic
Feast around the table of the Lord.

Saint Therese is a rapidly growing Catholic Family located in North Fort Myers, FL.  Our purpose is to deepen our faith and to grow ever more perfectly for the greater glory of God.  We are committed to the practice of our Faith.  We welcome and support new, present and returning parishioners, as well as our many seasonal visitors.  Through ongoing stewardship and active involvement, we seek to become like the Little Flower of Jesus, St. Therese: following her little way of ordinary things with extra-ordinary love.

As you browse through our site you will notice that we are a very active community.  Our care and concern reaches out to every age group, addressing many individual needs, with a multitude of opportunities for service to the Lord and his people.

May our beloved Patroness, Saint Therese, help us to believe in God's great love for us so that we might imitate her "Little Way" each day.

I thank you for visiting this web site.  May the Lord bless you and yours with his abundant love.

In the Peace of Christ,

Rev. Jan Antonik, Administrator

What should I wear?

How we dress conveys respect and honor. When you dress appropriately for Mass, it tells God that He is worth the effort and He deserves our best. As long as your heart is here for Jesus, your clothing should be what makes you feel your best for God. If a suit and tie feels respectful to you, please do so. If you are more present and less self-conscious in casual dress attire, then do so. We want you to come for your spiritual growth, not your attire.

How do I get to St. Therese?

Our Parish is located at 20115 North Tamiami Trail, North Fort Myers, FL 33903. Here is a map.

Great News!! St. Therese offers hearing aid assistance

St. Therese Church is now equipped with a hearing assistance system to assist parishioners participate better at Mass.  Please Click Here to find out more information.

I’m not Catholic ... so, how do I know when to sit, stand and kneel?

It can feel uneasy when you are unsure when to kneel, sit, and stand during Mass. In reality, these actions have great symbolism and are designed purposefully. Once Mass is well-understood, these actions make much more sense and visitors can easily join in.

I’m not Catholic ... is it okay for me to participate in communion?

Although we would love to extend an invitation to all to join in the Eucharistic Communion, however, unfortunately our Catholic beliefs regarding the true presence of Christ in the Eucharist are quite different than other denominations. We continue to pray that one day we will all be able to join in at one Eucharistic Table.

Am I expected to put money in the offering?

In order to provide a beautiful space to worship, we need continued support from our parishioners for our building upkeep and for our ministry both in the church and in our local community.
