This sacrament of service celebrates the call to serve God's kingdom as one who oversees and guides the Catholic Faith community in the role of the bishop, priest or deacon.
About Religious Life... Though not celebrated as a sacrament, life as a religious sister or brother is a call to a life of service, prayer and community. We are happy to talk with anyone moving through the process of discernment regarding the religious life. All inquiries will be kept confidential.
If you feel that God may be calling you to the priesthood, diaconate, or religious life you are invited to speak with our pastor. For more information on discerning your vocation, please feel free to contact the Office of Vocations in Venice. Our diocesan vocation director will assist you in this discernment process. Vocational guidance and information is available for women and men who are discerning a call to the Diaconate, Priesthood or Religious Life. Contact: Fr. Shawn Roser ~ (941) 484-9543
Our faith community prays continually for those who are discerning a call to vocations. We will keep you in our prayers for your vocational discernment.
